Devotionals about the truth of God's Word

If I as a believer, a Christian, fully understand the Cross of Christ in regard to my sanctification, how the Holy Spirit works through that which Christ accomplished through His death, this doesn’t mean that Satan is going to stop coming against me with all of his power. The Devil and all his henchmen are going to do all they can to steal, kill, and destroy. As long as I am alive, he will not let up. Even though I will fail, but not give up, and that I keep clinging to Christ and the Cross the Holy Spirit will see me through to victory. The only way I can go through each day is cling to the Cross and go through that day with Jesus as the Holy Spirit gives me that which He knows I need for that day. I must understand that the only answer for this life is the Cross of Christ. As much as I love my Pastor and my church family, they have no power to save me from a Devils Hell or out of bondage. The power of sin is so great that I cannot throw it off within my own willpower. I must do it God’s Way as it can only be done God’s Way.

The Christian that knows the Truth and exhibits, anchors, their faith upon the Truth, gives liberty, allows, the Holy Spirit to work in their life relative to that truth, John 8:32. Again, the Christian must never separate the Truth from that which the Truth accomplished through His death because when they do they are frustrating the Grace of God, meaning the only way the Holy Spirit can work in one’s life, Galatians 2:20-21 .

I, as a believer is therefore now guaranteed victory over sin and bondage in my life irrespective to how bad my sin or bondage may be. As I understand I am no match for Satan and sin, but sin, Satan, and death are no match for the Holy Spirit. There is therefore now no condemnation because in following the Holy Spirit there is no failure because the Holy Spirit cannot fail. When I fail, when I go astray, it is because of me, that I moved my faith from Christ and the Cross, the Cross again meaning Christ’s finished work, to myself or something else. Christ and what He has afforded us, what He has accomplished never fails, it’s always me that fails by my faith being moved to that which is sinking sand. On this Rock I am to stand as my salvation and victory is in Christ and His finished work for my every need, whatever that may be for my family or for this United States of America, this Nation, in which I am Blessed to live. That the Power of Jesus is prevalent in my life as my faith is in the correct object and that correct object is Christ and the Cross.

God’s Word states, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the Law of sin and death. For what the Law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the Righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be Spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of Righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”, Romans 8:1-14.
