The Narrow Way

The Lord says to everyone, do not let anything prevent you from pressing through the narrow way of conversion which alone affords one entrance to the Kingdom of God.

When the door is shut it will be too late to repent, too late to believe, too late for prayer, too late to be sorry for all the wrong one has done to those the Lord put in one’s life to love and care for. There is no unbelief in Hell. God’s Word states, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the Master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and He shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in Thy presence, and Thou hast taught in our streets. But He shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from Me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.”, ( Luke 13:23-28 ). When the door to Heaven shuts, the only open door is open the door to Hell.

There is only one way for one’s Salvation and Victory over the world, the flesh, and the Devil. It is faith and trust in Christ and what He did on the Cross. God’s Word states, ”And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.”, (  John 8:32 )

Jesus say’s to all, “I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life : no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”, (  John 14:6 )

Jesus proclaims to all that have a heart to hear, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”, (Luke 9:23 )

God’s Word defines the Cross as Christ’s finished work, His substitutionary atoning sacrifice. It is Christ’s life giving blood which paid for, afforded all who will believe, to have eternity with Christ, (  John 3:14-21, 1 Corinthians 1:17-18, 1 Corinthians 2:2, Galatians 6:14, Colossians 1:20, 2:10-15 )

Christians must understand that the purpose of man made religion is for man to achieve salvation but at the same time keep enjoying , justifying , and living in sin. Christ’s teaching and warning is in constant conflict with all who love their sin more than they love Him. Christians that truly love Jesus and their neighbors have been crucified with Christ and risen into newness of life by faith in Christ and that which He accomplished at Calvary’s Cross, His finished work, for our salvation and victory over the world, the flesh, and the Devil. ( Romans 6:1-14, Galatians 2:20-21, 6:14 )

As God’s Word states, “He that hath My Commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him. Judas saith unto Him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that Thou wilt manifest Thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My Words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him. He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the Word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father’s which sent Me.”, (  John 14:21-24 )

The only way to live here and in eternity is God’s narrow way that we have been afforded. To follow Christ is by the Way of the Cross. It means our faith is to be anchored exclusively, exhibited, in that which Christ and His Cross has already afforded us for liberty, salvation, victory over sin, and peace with God
